Meet The Team

Aaron, a Montana native, holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology and a professional certificate in Forensic Sciences from the University of Montana. As part of his undergraduate studies, he participated in the National Student Exchange Program at the University of New Mexico, where he gained hands-on experience interning with the Victim’s Advocate Division at the 2nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office. 

He completed his legal education at the University of Idaho College of Law and completed a summer externship with the 2nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Albuquerque, where he worked on felony criminal cases within the General Crimes Division. After successfully passing the New Mexico Bar Examination, he joined the same office as a prosecutor, handling a broad spectrum of cases, including domestic violence, DWI, traffic offenses, and other misdemeanor and petty misdemeanor matters. 

Building on his prosecutorial experience, Aaron established Mitchell Law Offices, LLC, with the goal of providing skilled, client-focused legal representation in criminal defense and restraining order defense across New Mexico. 

Darlene is a New Mexico Native who will graduate from the University of New Mexico in the Spring of 2025 with a bachelor’s in political science and philosophy. Darlene is an invaluable asset to the firm and intends to attend law school to become an attorney in the future.
